Hyper’s latest addition to their HyperDrive Next lineup is the HyperDrive Next USB-C to 4 Port USB-A Hub that expands a single USB-C port into 4 USB-A ports. What makes the HyperDrive Next lineup different is the inclusion of EcoSmart technology, with a case made of 85% recycled plastics.

For the most part, the HyperDrive Next USB-C to 4 Port USB-A Hub is a standard port expander where you plug the USB-C end into your device and it converts that into four USB-A ports. Although, it does use the latest technology to provide fast transfer speeds (5Gbps). This is great for those who still have legacy devices that don’t utilize USB-C.

The inclusions of Hyper’s EcoSmart technology also means that much of the materials used for the hub comes from recycled plastics, which is better for the environment.

With that said, the HyperDrive Next USB-C to 4 Port USB-A Hub is a great choice for those who want a product that will help keep their legacy gear useful, but also for those who want to use a product made of sustainable materials.
