Mophie is known for its charging solutions and has been making portable chargers for a good long time now. Their latest is the Mophie Snap+ Powerstation Mini with Stand, which is a Qi2 magnetic charger that works with MagSafe and Qi2-compatible devices. Of interest is the fact that this portable magnetic charger also doubles as a phone stand.
Let’s start with the design of the Mophie Snap+ Powerstation Mini first since that’s the most interesting thing about it. It includes a very sturdy fold-out stand that can fold just a bit over 90 degrees. The stand is also rubberized at the bottom for extra grip when in stand mode. In terms of thickness, this is one of the thicker portable chargers I’ve looked at, despite it only having a 5,000mAh battery.
Another thing to note is that the magnetic portion of the power bank is completely flat and not raised. That means it fits perfectly on iPhones, but some Android phones may have issues using this based on the placement of the cameras on the back. My Galaxy S24 Ultra, for instance, doesn’t quite clear the corner of the Mophie Snap+ Powerstation Mini without using a specific case that doesn’t have the raised camera protection.
Aside from that, the Mophie Snap+ Powerstation Mini with Stand is a really nice-looking portable battery pack made from quality materials with a stand that feels very sturdy. This is a great travel accessory too if you want to keep your phone charged while watching a video for instance. I just wish it had a raised back so it would clear my camera better, but overall, this is a fantastic little portable charger.
