In the past, I used to use a ziplock bag to keep all my cables together when I traveled, along with a charging block. This worked for a little while but wasn’t the most elegant of solutions. I ended up using a much sturdier pouch to carry my charging accessories. However, nowadays, I find myself carrying extra accessories around that I want to keep all together so I needed something else to keep everything organized. That’s where the Troubadour Caboodle Tech Case 2.0 comes in. This is essentially a gear pouch that helps organize all your cables, chargers, and accessories into one easy-to-carry solution.
The Troubadour Caboodle Tech Case 2.0 is a versatile carryall that lets you carry a surprising amount of stuff in a compact little pouch. The pouch itself is rectangular shaped and is collapsible. It has one main zippered compartment and a smaller zippered side compartment. The zippers on the case are of high quality with large zipper pulls. The outer fabric is made of recycled polyester fabric and the zipper pulls are made of vegan leather.
Moving on to the interior of the pouch, the lining is also made of recycled polyester. The interior of the Troubadour Caboodle Tech Case 2.0 is what you’ll be most impressed with. There are lots of dividers and separated pockets to keep all your accessories and gear separated. In my case, not only was I carrying a bunch of charging cables, but also a charging block, an Apple Magic Mouse, an Apple Magic Trackpad, and a USB-C SD Card adaptor. With all this, there was still plenty of space for other stuff I could have thrown in. In fact, there’s actually enough space in there to hold a small camera if you needed.
Lastly, there’s the little side pocket that is also zippered. This pocket is pretty flat so you can throw something like some pens or thumb drives in here. What is neat though is that this pocket has an integrated little slot to insert an Apple AirTag.
What I have in there now though is what I normally carry with me on trips and the Troubadour Caboodle Tech Case 2.0 organizes it all. Now I don’t need to worry about misplacing any of my accessories or forgetting to bring something with me. It’s all there in the pouch and ready to go.
FINAL THOUGHTS
The Troubadour Caboodle Tech Case 2.0 is my favorite little gear pouch to date. This pouch is really well-made and sophisticated looking. I love the clean exterior and how minimal it looks. I also love the well-organized interior that seems to be so cavernous that it could hold even more stuff than I already have in it. I also like that it’s still fairly compact in total size and can fit easily in my backpack, though it wouldn’t be too hard just to carry it on its own.
With that said, if you’re looking for a really good gear pouch to hold all your stuff, the Troubadour Caboodle Tech Case 2.0 has you covered and is well worth the price of $95.
