The Holidays are upon us and all the cool games and consoles are coming out. These are my top games and consoles for the holidays. A few of these games are on the PS5 and some can still be played on the PS4. I know that is good news to some as the struggle of getting a PS5 right now is real. We do however have a great list of games to select from.

Marvel’s Spider-man: Miles Morales on the PS5

Man oh man, this game looks amazing. All of the reviews and game-play do not do it justice at all. This game was originally designed for the PS5 because of its high graphics and interactive game mechanics. If you are lucky enough to pick up a PS5 you are going to enjoy this game. Hey if you are unlucky like me and have not picked up one you can still experience the game on your PS4. We may not get that full experience like the PS5 owners, but we can say we played it and 100% finished it. BTW, by picking up this game, you also get a voucher for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered. You’ll be getting two games in one here.

Call of Duty: Black OPS Cold War

As usual, a Call Of Duty game is on my list. The new Cold War is an awesome change from Black Ops 4. They take things back to the cold war, they have even released Nuke town from 1984. The overall campaign of this game gives us that excellent story like Call of Duty previously gave us in Modern Warfare. The multiplayer is your standard multiplayer except with old school weapons that cause crazy damage. This is definitely a game you need on that list to Santa. I highly recommend you picking up the Cross-Gen version as it will allow you to play on the legacy and newer consoles.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light

Bungie’s first release after separating from Activision is hands down a good game. The storyline goes in a pretty good direction. The new super is not bad at all, it’s currently broken the crucible. As we all saw the race for the world’s first completion of the new raid it’s one that has all new types of challenges for Guardians. It’s one of those games that you can spend hours playing with friends and family.

Assassins Creed Valhalla

Assassins Creed does it again with another excellent game. Valhalla’s graphics, story, and other mechanics are just what you would expect from an Assassins Creed game. All the other releases have been a success for this game creator. It made me think of the Barbarians series currently on Netflix. It’s a must-have for the holiday and maybe be one of the best games of the year.

Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk is the most anticipated game of the year. It has been the talk of the year and gamers can’t wait to play it. Especially after being heartbroken hearing the release date was pushed back. You are able to pre-order now for the December 10th release date. Who wouldn’t want a game that Keanu Reeves is in?

That’s it folks. These are some of the most anticipated games this holiday season. Whether you pick them up for current gen or next gen, you can’t go wrong with these. If you think there’s a game we missed or one that others might enjoy picking up, let us know in the comments below.
