So I’ve been a fan and primary phone user of Pixel phones since the first. I’ve used the Pixel, Pixel 2 XL, 3 XL, 4 XL, and now here we are with the Pixel 5. All have my my primary phones and I’ve seen the good and the bad. I’ve now been with the Google Pixel 5 for about a little over a week and while it is a new device, since coming right off the Pixel 4 XL with Android 11 I feel very familiar with it. So what I will talk about is some of the differences, perks, and trades off going to the Pixel 5. Especially as someone coming from a history of XL devices.
I also want to talk about if the Pixel 5 is worth it, or if maybe you should pick up one of the other Pixel phones to release this year. With all of the 2020 Pixel phones sharing a lot of the same features, you may need to spring for the Pixel 5 if you don’t need to.
