Back in April 2019, Disney announced the details of their Disney+ Streaming service, including “The Mandalorian” the first live-action Star Wars TV show. After the launch last November and several Emmy nominations later (including Best Drama), The Mandalorian has proven itself to be a profound success with audiences. Showrunners Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, some brilliant directors, and a score by Oscar winner Ludwig Göransson (Black Panther), they’ve managed to craft a series that was entertaining, riveting, and bound with the DNA of what people loved about the Star Wars Saga.
If you haven’t seen The Mandalorian Season 1, it is a must-see. One of the reasons this article still reads spoiler-free. Even if you are not a fan of Star Wars, there’s enough there for you to enjoy. With just over a month to go before the new season premieres, you have enough time to catch-up or re-watch for a refresher. Lucasfilm has officially released the first trailer for Season 2, with new characters, familiar faces joining the cast, the anticipation could not be greater.
