Sony finally announced the release date for the upcoming Sony Xperia 1 II (Mark two) phone and it is priced at a whopping $1200! I know many have been complaining about the rising prices of flagships lately and this price point sure isn’t going to change things, despite the high end specs it’s carrying.
Pre-orders for the device will start on June 1, 2020 and those who do will be treated to a free pair of Sony WF-1000XM3 noise canceling earbuds.
Specs for the Xperia 1 II include a Snapdragon 865 processor, a 4,000mAh battery, 4K HDR OLED screen (6.5″ @ 21:9 aspect ratio), 3.5mm audio jack, and a boatload of camera technology.
The US version of the phone however will only come with 4G LTE and not 5G. A Pro version is expected that will have 5G included later down the line.
