We have a new Super Bowl TV spot for Top Gun: Maverick showing more footage and even more aerial acrobatics for Tom Cruise’s surprising sequel.
Tom Cruise returns as Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, the role he made famous in Director Tony Scott’s 1986 action-drama “Top Gun”. A United States Navy’s elite fighter weapons school, with pilots competing to best in the class.
It’s been three decades since Cruise played Maverick, the sequel is directed by Joseph Kosinski (Tron Legacy, Oblivion, Only the Brave), featuring a few surprising cameos and a slew of new pilots played by Miles Teller, Monica Barbaro, Glen Powell, and Jay Ellis.
