I’m back again with another 70mai product for your vehicle and this time it’s the 70mai Tire Pressure Monitoring System Lite. I’ll start this off by saying that if you have a newer vehicle, probably within the last 5-10 years or so, your car most likely already has a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). It’s either one that tells you when your tire pressure is low only or one that also includes the actual amount of pressure left in your tires. If you don’t have this in your vehicle, it’s super easy to add this with the help of the 70mai Tire Pressure Monitoring System Lite.
The 70mai Tire Pressure Monitoring System Lite is an all-in-one solution for those who want more information about their tires. Like I stated above, this is for those who don’t have this capability already in their vehicles. What’s included in the package are four tire pressure caps, one receiver, and hardware. It’s super easy to install and will work on any vehicle.

To install, just place the receiver somewhere in your car, preferably somewhere you can keep an eye on it. Each one of the four valve stem caps then go on one of the wheels. They are labeled for each wheels so you know which one goes where. Make sure you used the included hardware to ensure a tight fit.
Once on, just turn the receiver on. The caps are already paired to the receiver from the factory so no need to sync them. They should just work. If installed correctly, you’ll see the readout on the screen for tire pressure and tire temperature. You’ll notice that the measurements are in BAR and Celsius. As far as I know, there’s no way to change this to PSI and Fahrenheit.
The 70mai Tire Pressure Monitoring System Lite does have a companion app you can download just called 70mai. That app basically shows you most of the same information as what’s on the receiver unit however you can play with some of the setting in that app that you can’t on the receiver. In it you can adjust what the tire pressure of your tires should be, the temperature, and how low the tire pressure can get before it sets off an alert. It’s not entirely necessary to have the app, but it helps give a bit more information and customization.

While the monitor does what it says it does, the only thing that I don’t like is the fact that the valve stem caps themselves are quite large. They are about the diameter of a penny which is much larger than a regular valve stem so to me, they look a bit weird on my wheels. But that’s just me. I’m kind of picky about the way my car looks.
Aside from the looks though, these work very well. They are fairly accurate, although those of us living here in the US will have to do a bit of conversion since these show pressure in Bars and not in PSI (pounds per square inch). Luckily that app will show you what the conversion is so it’s not very hard to calculate.

So with that said, the 70mai Tire Pressure Monitoring System Lite is a very good piece of tech to have if you’re driving around in a vehicle that doesn’t have a tire pressure monitor built in. It’s small and easy to install and does exactly what it says it does. What more could you ask for?
