Moments ago in São Paulo, Brazil, at CCXP (Comic-Con Experience) 2019, Warner Bros, with returning Director Petty Jenkins and Gal Gadot have finally revealed to the world the first official trailer for ‘Wonder Woman 1984’.
The first film truly paved the way for female-led superhero films, breaking box office records for DC. As the title suggests, Wonder Woman 1984 picks up several decades after World War 1 but before the events of Batman v Superman. Diana Prince (Gal Gadot), acclimated, older and wiser to the ways of the human world, is drawn into a new adventure introducing her to Maxwell Lord played by Pedro Pascal (Narcos, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, The Mandalorian) and villainess Barbara Minerva played by Kristen Wiig (Bridesmaids, Saturday Night Live), a woman with superhuman strength and agility. Other returning cast members include Robin Wright as Antiope, Connie Nielsen’s Hippolyta and Chris Pine as Steve Trevor.
Wonder Woman 1984, arrives in theatres June 5th, 2020.
