Motorola has decided to bring back one of the most popular phones in the industry and give it a new twist. It looks like the RAZR of old but its been revised for a new generation.

Gone is the number pad and in its place is a 6.2″ pOLED screen that reaches from top to bottom with no camera hole punches or a “crease” or “hinge” that we have been seeing present in recent foldables. When closed you are presented with a 2.7″ gOLED display.

There is a 5MP front camera and 16MP rear that can be accessed whether the phone is open or closed. Also the device is splash proof which we havent really seen with these foldable phones yet.

Spec wise its rocking a Snapdragon 710 processor, 2150mAh battery, 6GB RAM and will run Android 9.0 Pie out the box. These specs realistically sound like something you would get out of a mid-tier device.

Looking at its price tag of $1499 its a bit mind boggling to say the least. But who know if it can run smooth without issue with decent usage it could be a hidden gem.

Also interesting is this phone will be releasing during the biggest tech show CES 2020 which runs from Jan 7th-10th.

  • Motorola razr will be available for preorder from Verizon starting December 26 and it will be in stores and online on January 9.
  • razr is $62.49 a month for 24 months on Verizon Device Payment (0% APR; $1,499.99 retail).
