As if the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel being in development wasn’t enough good news. Legend of Zelda fans got even more good news. Nintendo announced a remake of the Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening based off of the Game Boy Color title from the 90’s for the Switch and it’s coming this year on September 20th. No waiting until 2020 for this title.

This refresh looks incredible and has a look reminiscent of the LoZ: A Link to the past game with it’s bird’s eye view playstyle and cutesy animation. Don’t let the look of the game fool you. Just like Link to the past, you can expect plenty of challenges, dungeons and secrets scattered throughout Hyrule. Yesterday, during Nintendo’s special E3 event they showed off about 30 minutes of gameplay that should hopefully get you excited for this great game. Check it out below
