The first Dying Light game was a surprisingly good game and a sleeper hit in the overused zombie apocalypse genre. It was one of those games that not only looked good but played well and it gave you all of the feelings of the sense of urgency and desperation a zombie epidemic would trigger.

At E3 2019 Square Enix finally came back to us with the sequel to Dying Light which is appropriately named Dying Light 2. Based on the trailer, all things point to this new sequel picking up right where the first game left off. It’s still first person and the city is still in a shambles and zombies are still on the prowl. There are a lot of new physical mechanics that make the game more intense, especially when you’re trying to escape or evade enemies. Check out the trailer and see for yourself. Dying Light 2 will be available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC in the Spring of 2020.
