Activision and Sledgehammer Games know how to keep players interested in the Call of Duty Franchise. They have recently released a trailer for the new DLC called Shadow War. The Shadow war DLC is just around the corner as its release date for PS4 is August 28th, 2018. This is the fourth and final DLC pack for WW2 as the anticipation and release of Call of Duty Black OPS 4 is not far away.
New Zombie Content:
The new DLC tells the end all of the Nazi zombie storyline entitled The Frozen Dawn. It will test your skill as you go through the depths of the lost city, battling new zombies. Not to fear you will also have new magical weapons that will assist in your battles.
New Multiplayer Maps:
If you are not a huge zombie player no need to worry the Shadow War brings something for you as well. Shadow War will bring three new maps, the new multiplayer maps are Airship, Chancellery, and Evacuation. The Chancellery map takes place at night, nothing like a good old night fight and also is enjoyable for sniping as is an area with plenty of buildings. The Airship map is on the top of a mountain, so you jumpers might want to be careful you don’t jump off the side. Evacuation now sounds like an interesting environment, it in an old Algerian mine. You are surrounded by treasures and artifacts making the battle a little more interesting.
In a PlayStation blog post, Matt Abbott from Sledgehammer games Stated, “Thematically for this pack, we wanted to push the fiction as far as we could, have a lot of fun with it, and give the player a sense of creativity as the play.”
