It should be no surprise that third party accessory makers are already jumping at the chance to make something for the Apple Watch. Most will probably make stylish watch bands while others will go with something you don’t usually find on a timepiece, a protective “case.” X-Doria announced that they are coming out with a product called the Defense Edge guards which is essentially a case for your Apple Watch that protects the watch casing.
The Defense Edge is an aluminum guard with a rubber inner lining that protects the Apple Watch from scratches and chocks. It’s a snap on design and will come in gold, silver, blue, and red. The Defense Edge will cost $29.99 and be available exclusively at Best Buy locations.
