Here is Marvel’s Official Synopsis:
“Captain America: Civil War” picks up where “Avengers: Age of Ultron” left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.
The film is based on some of the concepts introduced by Mark Millar (Kick-Ass, Wanted, The Kingsmen) in Marvel’s 2006 cross-over mini-series Civil War. This film is already looking to be one of the most anticipated in 2016. William Hurt reprises his role from “The Incredible Hulk” as General “Thunderbolt” Ross. Paul Rudd (Scott Lang/Ant-Man) will finally make his first appearance alongside the Avengers. T’Challa/Black Panther played by Chadwick Boseman makes his debut and Tom Holland’s Peter Parker/ Spider-Man makes his very first appearance in the MCU.”
