When the Nintendo 3Ds dropped we really didn’t have many fighting games to add to the library, Street Fighter was the only fighting that was available, slowly the library has become bigger, and now you will be able to add Tekken 3D Prime edition.
Tekken 3D Prime Edition has everything a Tekken fan would want in a game, the roster on this game is amazing, you have schoolgirl Ling Xiaoyu, Steve Fox, Devil Jin and Jack-6 just to name a few out of the 40 characters you can choose from. You will also have the entire roster of Tekken 6, with old Heihachi being replaced by the young Heihachi.
You will also see Special Survival Battles, Practice Battles and Tekken Cards. The Special Survival mode will have longer series of fights along with five to six different courses to choose from. Special Survival Mode you can get Tekken Cards, this cards are collectable cards that you can trade and battle while using StreetPass . You can also compete with others wirelessly.
If this isn’t enough for you the game also includes the CGI-animated film Tekken: Blood Vengeance, I was able to get a sneak peak of the movie in 3D at comic-con, the setting is between Tekken 5 and Tekken 6, this movie will help all the new players who are no too familiar with the characters.
Tekken 3D Prime Edition will be released early 2012, from what I’ve seen so far this looks like a solid fighting game.
