Streets of Rage 4 is one of the remake games that the retro crowd and 80’s baby Sega Genesis players are waiting in anticipation for. This game has been progressing slowly but surely and we’ve been able to see that progress of the game since it was first announced last year.

Lizardcube, has been pretty generous in keeping fans abreast of what’s been going on with the game in terms of screenshots, plots, characters and social media updates. Their generosity comes out again in the latest trailer which shows off more gameplay and a 5th playable character, Floyd.

Aside from the newest character, Streets of Rage 4 will also have 2 player online co-op, up to 4 players locally. Multiplayer in this game is going to be tons of fun especially with this new animation style and combo system. This release will be available on all platforms (PC, XBOX, PS4) the Spring of this year. If you wanna get updates you can follow Lizardcube on Twitter and see what’s going on with this game.
