I don’t think I seen a device supported and updated as much as the NVIDIA Shield TV. With that in mind, NVIDIA is updating their Android TV to the latest version of Android which is Pie aka 9.0. SHIELD Software Experience Upgrade 8.0 will bring a redesigned interface including a new feature called Match Content Color Space. This can automatically switch your display mode to deliver more accurate colors whether you are browsing the home screen or watching your favorite movie in HDR.
Other additions will be Hulu Live TV, Netflix audio update providing Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 surround sound, and casting for Prime Video up to 4K resolution. Apps such as FandangoNOW!, E!, and Bravo have been added as well.
