Heart-Pumping, Arcade Action of Fast & Furious Takedown Mobile Game Comes to Life in New Stop-Motion Video Featuring Hot Wheels Fast & Furious Cars

Universal City, Calif., April 9, 2019 – Universal Games and Digital Platforms today released a new Fast & Furious Takedown stop-motion video featuring iconic vehicles from Mattel’s spring 2019 Hot Wheels Fast & Furious die-cast assortment. In the video, fans will be treated to a thrilling car chase where Dominic Toretto’s die-cast Dodge Charger evades an enemy chopper while racing alongside other cars of the Fast & Furious crew, including the Ford Escort RS1600 and the Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 – all of which can also be seen in Fast & Furious Takedown.

Fast & Furious Takedown is a high-speed action arcade mobile game that lets players of all skill levels master one-thumb controls to drift through missions, take the wheel of more than 60 licensed cars, and fill their garage with some of their favorite vehicles from the Fast & Furious franchise.  

A new game update launching this spring will introduce “Hero Events,” which lets players earn additional legendary cars from the film franchise throughout the year such as the Toyota Supra, Fast & Furious “Flip Car,” Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport, and more.

Fast & Furious Takedown is available now and free to download on the App Store and Google Play, with in-app purchases.

The Hot Wheels Ford Escort RS1600, Lamborghini Gallardo, Nissan Silvia, Nissan Skyline GT-R (BNR34) and Nissan Skyline GT-R (BNR32) cars featured in the video are available for purchase for $5.49 (MSRP) at Walmart, Target and specialty stores.
