The rescuing of Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), Hope’s mother and Hank’s wife from the Quantum Realm. In the previous film, Ant-Man briefly entered the Quantum Realm, and narrowly escaped, something they all believed was impossible. Also in the film, the trio face will face Ghost, played by Hannah John-Kamen (Ready Player One), a villain with the ability to ‘phase’ in different ways through solid matter. Other new faces include Laurence Fishburne who plays Bill Foster, a former colleague of Hank and Walter Goggins (Tomb Raider) as Sonny Burch. Peyton Reed returns to the director chair for this adventure and for those who are curious, the film takes place after the events of Captain America: Civil War and intertwines with the events of Avengers: Infinity War.
