Believe it or not Summer is halfway over but there still ton of events to attend before we get back to the cool Fall weather. Around this time last year we had the opportunity to attend Secret Summer 16′ which was actually something different from the normal tech events and its location is pretty much a hidden gem New York City’s borough of Queens.
Third Year of a Secret Summer
Secret Summer is a nicely curated event ranging from some of the best food vendors, combination of mixed drinks and a tasting of produce grown straight out of an indoor farm in the heart of Manhattan.
Secret Summer will take place once again at “The Foundry”. It’s an event space typically known for weddings taking place there. The venue is a nice visual once inside though. There is at least three different halls and outside is the lavish greenhouse area. As I had attended Secret Summer last year they will make use of every bit of space at The Foundry.
There will also be a photo booth, tattoo stations, performances from bands such as “”Drumadics” & “Momentum Drums” The event is set up by RAPT NY while the cocktails will be crafted by Bespoke Solutions.
Food Vendors will be: La Pulperia, Luke’s Lobster, Big D’s, Wafels & Dinges and Handsome Dan’s Candy Bar.
Tickets are available via Eventbrite HERE and currently range between $150-175($100-125 sold out fast). But remember that does include unlimited cocktails, discounted Lyft code and access to the festival programming. The fun begins next Sunday, August 6th and goes from 4PM-10PM.
