We been waiting the inevitable but it looks like LG is ready to unleash the successor to their popular LG G2 smartphone last year with the LG G3. While it doesn’t mention the G3, LG has mentioned it would be coming out around the 2nd quarter and we are already in that. Also it would be interesting to see if we get a first hands-on look at the G Watch has been making the rounds visually across the world wide web for the past month.
As far as the event is concerned, its set to launch simultaneously across six cities such as New York, San Francisco, London on Day 1, and Istabul, Seoul, and Singapore on Day 2. I see companies have been doing multicast launches more often now which is great as countries are behind in getting products or knowing about it compared to past years.
I was a big fan of the LG G2 and touted it one of the best android smartphones of 2013 and still holds up good to this day.
Leaked specs and images have given it a 2K display(2560 x 1440 resolution), 3GB RAM, either keeping it at 5.2″ or raising it to 5.5″ and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801. If the LG G3 indeed launches on May 27th, it has some tough competition ahead with the HTC One M8 and Samsung Galaxy S5 currently battling for smartphone supremacy as we speak.
