New York Comic Con is a haven for geekdom ranging anything from comic books, toys, anime, and even video games. Now being that comic is in the title you cant go without having something cool being revealed thoroguh the event. We were able to get up close opportunity to check out the transformation from Samuel L. Jackson wax figure he created back at Madame Tussauds back in 2000 and have it transformed into the gun wielding, eye patch wearing leader of S.H.I.E.L.D who is Nick Fury.
What better time to unveil this then at New York’s Comic Con especially with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D just debuting on ABC a couple of weeks ago. The wax statue is spot on with Samuel L. Jackson’s portrayal of the character and if you blinked a eye you think it was real. The reveal was done at Midtown Comics booth and the creation was a joint effort between Marvel Comics and Madame Tussauds.
