Holidays can drive all of us crazy especially when you are looking to buy games, whether it be for you or someone else. We’ve all had that experiences where their were games we couldn’t wait to get our hands on and spent hours on end playing, then we hand other games were we thought the game was going to be amazing, got home played it and was disappointed. Halo 4


Halo has always been one of those game that you didn’t care about the reviews, you were going to try the game out yourself. Halo always has hype to it no matter what; it’s one of those games that has a die-hard fan base. Even though some of the past Halo games haven’t lived up to its expectation, The guys at 343 Industries wanted to change that by bringing back Master Chief. In Halo 4, the duo confronts a fresh new threat to the human race and grapples with mortality in a way the series never has before. The cinematic, music and online-multi player is what makes this Halo the best in the series.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II


No surprise here, Call of Duty drops every year, this is the one game you don’t have to wonder when the next installment is coming out, but you do wonder how the gameplay will be, along with what kind of Guns and maps this game will have. Black Ops II takes place in the future 2025 Story line was actually good. Yes zombies are back, all-new Zombies experience running in the multiplayer engine. Even though Activision took a lot of heat for puling the Nuketown 2025 map (The multiplayer map, which was included as a pre-order bonus as well as in the Hardened and Care Package special editions of the game) which people paid extra for. The game still was a best seller and actually enjoyable to play.

Hitman: Absolution

Agent 47 is back!! The story starts of with the Agent 47 being betrayed by the ones he trusted and if that wasn’t bad enough he is now being hunted down police. The cinematic story alone will have you hooked. Sending Contracts to your friends is just another added bonus to the game. “Contracts is a new feature to the Hitman franchise and has received amazing feedback. Agent 47 just doesn’t take out his enemies with guns he uses whatever is around, or you can just throw your enemies out the window, your choice. Hitman: Absolution has tons of great features that will keep you busy for a long time.

Assassin’s Creed III


AC3 takes us back to the American Revolution in the late 18th century, where we meet our new hero, Ratohnhaké:ton, of Native American and English heritage. Adopting the name Connor, he becomes the new voice for justice in the ancient war between the Assassins and Templars. AC3 has added a couple of new DLC’s that will keep the battle going on for quite some time. Gamers are thrown into the Revolutionary War, going up against battlefields where George Washington’s Continental Army clashed with the imposing British Army; this will be a fight to remember. Ubisoft did an amazing job on the graphics, AC3 truly has amazing graphics.

FarCry 3


“A dark version of Skyrim,” is what they are calling it, this is one of the most underrated game this year. The game starts off on an island, surround by drugs and human misery. You play as Jason Brody who is trapped on mysterious Tropical Island which becomes ruthless pretty quickly; natives are not the only ones you have to watch out for. If you get tired of the Campaign you can always grab a couple of your friends for multi-player.

Borderlands 2


If you remember how great the first Borderlands game was, Borderlands 2 is just as good. Whether you play the campaign alone or bring along your friends this is truly a fun game to play. With this new game you also get new guns, Fire, electricity, and corrosive acid, just to name a few. Combining invention and evolution, Borderlands 2 features mixed online/split-screen co-op, all-new characters, skills, environments, enemies, weapons and equipment, which come together in an ambitiously crafted story. Will you also find new areas of Pandora you’ve never seen before.

Dishonored


One of the darkest games out, the game is set in Dunwall, an industrial whaling city where strange steampunk- inspired technology and otherworldly forces coexist in the shadows. You play theonce-trusted bodyguard of the beloved Empress. Your character is framed for her murder; you become now an assassin, who is known only by the sick, disturbing mask that you are now known for. The game reacts to how you play. You can either kill everyone and show no mercy or you can look the other way and resist and do good, the choice is up to you. Mind you this will change the outcome of the game.
