Samsung introduces smaller S3 model, Galaxy S III Mini

Today in Frankfurt, Germany, the rumors of a smaller S3 model have come to light. The Galaxy S III Mini. Although you would think it is a smaller sized version of the top selling flagship Samsung Galaxy S III, it looks like it may be small in the specs department too. The specs arising from this device state that it will run a Dual Core 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 4.0 WVGA Super AMOLED display, a 5MP back camera with 720P video, a VGA front camera and a good feature to see is Jelly Bean 4.1. Now I know these specs may be frowned upon compared to the powerhouse standard S3 model but in that case it would be best to get that then. the Mini looks to be a powerful midrange device that a consumer that wants the S3 but doesn’t need necessary all the features associated.

Depending how carriers price this and its advertised, this could really could be a hit for Samsung. Of course also getting their branding out even further then it already has. Consumers may get this and then decide to say get the S4 whenever it launches.

There hasnt been a release date announced yet but when it does you know we will provide it. For now you can read more about the Galaxy S III Mini in the presser below.
