There is no other feeling in the world like waking up and realizing that your wildest geekdom prayers have been answered. I’m a shopaholic and I have way too much of everything. Even though I have every type of bluetooth keyboard known to man (and woman) I still myself needing a phone and a tablet at all times and still not really being able to get things done. Also starting a post on my mobile phone then trying to complete my task with my email is not only annoying but inconvenient and the main reason why I have so many things “still pending”.

Earlier today I was telling a friend that if I could find a way to organize my gadget clutter I could be more productive and carry less things in my bag(s). Then out of nowhere I receive this presser:

Press Release

Pocketable, five-way folding keyboard unleashed on Kickstarter, to deliver an unparalleled Bluetooth typing solution for mobile devices

Los Angeles, CA – September 19, 2012 – The Jorno team, innovative developers of input productivity solutions for touchscreen handheld devices, is thrilled to unleash its creation, the Jorno keyboard.

Jorno serves as an on-the-go solution for typing on a variety of mobile devices. This pocketable keyboard is the size of your palm when folded, measuring in at 7.6mm for a clean and modern design. It folds down five ways, unlike any other competitor on the market, and easily fits into your pocket or purse.

By transforming your iPhone®, iPad®, or Android™ device into a fully functioning laptop, users can enjoy the freedom of easily writing emails, taking notes in class, or working on other assignments from virtually any location. Jorno also comes equipped with a detachable cradle to securely hold your device in landscape or portrait mode for the most practical and productive user experience. The cradle is designed to support phones as well as mini- and full-size tablets. Jorno pairs via Bluetooth to deliver convenient connectivity capabilities, and also guarantees compatibility with a wide array of devices.

The Jorno keyboard also has an intelligently rigid design, so it won’t collapse as users are typing on their lap. The built-in rechargeable battery lasts an entire month to deliver maximum usage time without concern for losing power.

“We are incredibly excited to introduce a mobile keyboard to the market, which offers such a unique and essential design that has yet to be created,” said Scott Starrett, CEO and Founder, Jorno. “We are passionate about this innovation and are certain it is the next big thing in the mobile productivity arena.”

Jorno has garnered a number of prestigious industry awards, including an Engineering Design and Innovation Award from the Consumer Electronics Show.
