What better way to get the new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 out there then to throw a big event embracing the actual consumers that buy it? Samsung and GDGT collaborated on having an unveiling of their new tablet at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall in the heart of New York City on Wednesday Night. They had tons of celebrities from Kelly Osbourne, Debra Messing, Camilla Belle, Anna Kendrick, Tracy Morgan, models Kate Upton and Julie Henderson, director Baz Luhrmann, fashion designer Zac Posen and former Olympic skater Sarah Hughes there just walking around, taking pictures and even relaxing and checking out the Note 10.1.
There were different sections set up in the Lincoln Center to give you a nice feel of what could be done with the Galaxy Note 10.1 and how it can make changes in your lifestyle. There were areas dedicated to influences of arts from live caricature drawings being displayed, to showing how classroom lectures can be done. I thought that was the most important aspect.
Coolest things of the night were performances by Icona Pop a female Swedish DJ and electropop duo perfomed a melody of different tracks. Also rapper/producer Swizz Beatz which was DJing the latter part of the event and performed the catalog of tracks he has been on or helped make famous.
Samsung/GDGT throwing a release like this is good for the public as it sets a good positive feeling with the people that buys your stuff and was just a good old blast being there.
