Dishonored is an upcoming first-person Neo-Victorian/steampunk stealth action-adventure video game being developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is scheduled to be released in October 2012 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Stealth action adventure game? Sign me up! I’ve always loved stealthy games and being an assassin but if that’s not for you then the direct stabby shooty aggressive method is still availible. But the real kicker is, you are playing an assassin with “super powers”! Assassin’s Creed with super powers? How can you not be interested? From the trailer as well as the demo gameplay videos we see that you are offered a wide variety of weapons: pistols, daggers, one handed crossbows, and swords. Some “super powers” that we’ve seen already are blink (short range teleport), slow/freeze time, force push, night vision, and possibly one of my favorites, possession. Along with your myriad of weapons and super powers, there is also another way to kill your targets via the environment making it look like an accident. If you’re a pacifist though, there are options within the story arc which lets you complete your mission without killing your target. There are also many ways routes to approach your target making your next playthrough completely different.
