Samsung S III Now Available for Pre-Order – Unlocked Version

How anxious are you to get the new Samsung Galaxy S III? Well you can now pre-order the Samsung S III on Amazon to be delivered June 1st.  Think hard before submitting the order though as the phone will set you back $800.

Why $800? Well, it’s because it will be the unlocked (GSM) international version, which means you can use it on AT&T or T-Mobile (but you won’t be able to use data on T-Mobile networks or AT&T’s LTE network).

There is no official announcement for the US version of this phone. If you do decide to wait for the US version, it probably won’t have the Exynos quad-core processor as it’s not compatible with our LTE networks.

Do you think it’s worth jumping the gun and picking up the unlocked version? I won’t be spending that amount.  I’ll wait for the US version.
