The NY Auto Show for 2012 begins on April 6 and goes on until April 15th. If you love cars, or in curious about what is new on the scene, or maybe looking to get something new. The Auto Show is where you want to be for the next week. We at G Style took a sneak peek at the show floor and spot a few cars you should definitely check out.

Started with the image you see about, this is the new Dodge Dart and it is a compact car. Now only is it a compact car that starts out at $15,995 and looks all kinds of sexy as hell, but it is a compact that I seriously want to buy right now. The Dodge Dart looks modern, sexy, and is full of cool tech on the inside. While at the Auto Show I found myself being drawn back to the Dart area on several occasions. The only thing that really sucked about the Dodge Dart on the show floor, was the fact that I couldn’t get inside it. The Dodge Dart will begin production very soon, and if you visit a dealer probably towards the end of the month you can start creating your own for purchase. The Dart will come in SE, SXT, RALLYE, Limited, and R/T trims. While the dart will start at 15,995 for the SE model, I would probably opt for the next level up the SXT. The SXT trim would be a good base as it will have the power mirrors, locks, and remote keyless entry. Also available would be the Uconnect Touchâ„¢ Media Center 8.4-inch screen and trust me you want this! Pricing isn’t available yet on the SXT and up trims, but should be available by the end of the month.

Once you leave the Dodge area (if you are able to pull yourself away from this area), you might want to head over to the Chevy area and check out the coming Chevy Spark. I purely curious about this car because I think it was one of the ones in the Transformer movies. Once you get towards the back of the area, you see the all new 2013 Chevy Impala which looks completely different from past models and this one look awesome. Gone is the boring typical front of the car, and replaced with a bold new more up to date Chevy car look. This new look fits in better with the Volt, Camaro, and newer cars.

Don’t forget to stop at the Hot Wheels Camaro as you head into the Chevy area. Last year they have the Bubble Bee Transformers one with a giant statue of Bubble Bee behind it. This year is Hot Wheels.

After leaving that back area, which has Buick (check out the Enclave), and Cadillac you’ll want to head to the main area and check out Ford and their 2013 Ford Focus ST car. Generally I haven’t been a fan of the Ford Focus, as the older models to me were kind of ugly but the newer ones look much better, and the ST hatchback look impressive. Of course the blue one had caught my attention.

If you like coupes, on the affordable end I would definitely check out the Scion FR-S which is starting at $24, 930 for manual transmission, and $26,030 for automatic. The Scion FR-S is a car I seen at last year’s Auto Show and believe it was a concept, but it is good to see a car go from concept to actual production. If there is one thing I hate about Auto Shows is concept cars. I hate seeing this hot looking futuristic car and then it never sees the light of a dealer showroom floor! Now if you got the money to spend and want to go electric, Tesla isn’t the only game in the market. You can check out Fisher Automotive’s Karma.

Now obviously there is much more for you to see at the NY Auto Show, but this is just a taste. If you are in NYC, be sure to stop by the Jacob Javis Center and check out all the autos yourself. Be sure to stop back here and let us know which car caught your attention, and then let me know what you thought of the Dodge Dart which I have not become fixated on lol
