One of the more impressive things I seen at CES 2012 was some of the new gadgets coming from Mad Catz. They had the Mad Catz Cyborg MMO 7 Mouse, new headsets under their Tritton umbrella called “Primer” which produce 5.8GHz of wireless technology which in itself is great. In my eyes the biggest things they were releasing I guess because I’m a big fan of the fighting game genre is the Street Fighter X Tekken Arcade FightStick V.S. Mad Catz is definitely looking to keep your gaming experiences enjoyable.
The Street Fighter X Tekken Arcade FightStick V.S. is such a delight as I can see it being used in alot of fight tournaments or even in the home. Whats great is the chassis allows for single play but also for dual play. You can get a connector and connect two fightsticks at one time simulating having a arcade machine cabinet. The Pricing will be $199.99 for each fightstick and the connector kit is $19.99. It will be available for Xbox 360 and PS3.
The Primer Wireless Stereo Headset is great as its actually cobranded by Microsoft XBox themselves. It uses 5.8GHz wireless technology to connect with the Xbox 360. In addition, the Primer includes precision balanced 40mm neodymium drivers and controls which allow gamers to separately adjust volume and in-game chat levels. Pricing is $99.99
These are just some of the accessories Mad Catz is set to drop as there will be more Street Fighter X Tekken devices such as a another fightstick and also a fightpad for you casual gamers. All these should be releasing in time for the actual game release on March 6 2012 here in the US. The Tritton Primer is available now.
