Chiron Theme by

Home ScreenWhen I 1st saw this theme I thought it seemed like the successor to the Sterling theme I reviewed a couple weeks ago. Nice one-sided animated scroll slot & silver. But there is more then meets the eye. Lets go in depth shall we.

On the Homescreen we have eight interchangeable icons that go up and down and what differs from this one and the Sterling theme is the “2nd” slot which consists of a calendar, message, and phone button. I thought that was a pretty cool feature. Its nice and small and doesn’t really stand out to where it is a burden.

The icons have a silver and grayish look to them. Most of them look nice, a couple I wish they touched up a little more. Other then that, icon name on bottom, ya usual top bar with the always needed necessities.

Message ScreenOverall I like the color schemes of the theme, but there were some things I didn’t like. The homescreen only seems to hold two notification icons at a time. I’m also not a total fan of the silhouette looking cover on the homescreen either. I guess it can look nice tho depending what wallpaper you apply.

The theme cost $6.99 and is available for the Blackberry Bold, Curve 8900, and Storm at
