AT&T Unlocks the Gate on AIM, ICQ on the Blackberry

Just like RIM and the whole MySpace app, this move seems a little too late. Sure there will be people who have been waiting for this for some time now, and sure rejoice to those people. But for most of us, we have decided long ago that AT&T could kiss our a** and we took care of the situation ourselves.

Either we did a service book hack to get AIM to download, or we pony ed up for a great app by the name of BeeJive IM. If so, then we know BeeJive is a great app and takes up far screen icon space by having AIM, Yahoo Messenger, ICQ, GoogleTalk, MSN Messenger, and more under one roof.

But kudos to AT&T for finally getting on board, what took ya! You can download AIM & ICQ by going to mobile.blackberry.com from your BB browsers.
