FlyCast for Your Blackberry & iPhone

So yesterday I took the time to download FlyCast for my Blackberry Bold. I know this may have been out for a little bit, but now that I got this Bold and 3G, I’m looking for new stuff to test the limits of the 3G network. Just to back up a little bit, FlyCast is a free service that gives you portable music and talk radio that’s better than Satellite radio. FlyCast has well over 1000 unique channels of music, news, & sports that you can listen to and watch anywhere.

Currently FlyCast supports the iPhone, iPhone 3G, iPod Touch, as well as the Blackberry, Storm, and Curve. Let me say this app is great, I used it last night on a 3G connection and it worked like a charm. I listened to some 90s Hip Hop and the interface was easy and sound quality was great. I would say to you, if you are going to use this, I would use it on a 3G or WiFi connection. You can use it on EDGE, but it wasn’t as good and I’ve found that it kept buffering too much. On 3G it was nearly flawless!

FlyCast is free, and hopefully it will stay that way. You can get more information on FlyCast by going to www.flycast.fm. If you are a iPhone/iPod Touch user, you can get this app from the App Store. If you are a Blackberry user you can pick it up from our mobile site at http://m.gstylemag.com.
