The Weekly Recap 9/29 – 10/3

Ok I admit it has been kind of a slow week for us here. But then again, we have been celebrating our 3 anniversary this week. We launched our mobile site at http://m.gstylemag.com, released our first ever Blackberry theme (which has been been getting great reviews from people who downloaded it) made by Elecite.com, and we still got more coming. So this is going to be a good month for us here at G Style. Ok so let’s see what else happened during the week of our celebration.

Jay-Z Plays for Obama
Now along side Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel who announced an Oct. 16 fundraiser at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom, Jay-Z is the latest high profile artist to be apart of a Obama benefit. He will hold 2 free concerts this weekend in support of voter registration and the campaign of Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama for the upcoming U.S. presidential election. The T-Mobile Blackberry Pearl Flip Gets Pricing
I’m sorry but I still like the Blackberry KickStart name, so I’m going to get using it lol. The Kickstart has now gotten some pricing information on it running $149.99 for a new activation on a 2 year contract and then varying pricing based on 1 or 2 year contract and whether you are a new activation or a upgrading existing customer. Travis Barker Has been Release from the Hospital
I’m sure you have heard about Travis and DJ AM and their release tragic accident. Travis has now been released according to spokeswoman Beth Frits. He was released the morning of September 29th. You can check out more at [BillBoard]
