I don’t know if any of you installed the Project Tango version of Viigo when we first mentioned it back in June, but they now have available the next version of their Project Tango Beta!
*UPDATED* I have to give a shout out to Mark Ruddock, who is CEO of Viigo. Since I visit a couple of tech blogs as well as read my own lol, I happened to comment on BerryReview’s post about the 2nd Beta from Viigo. I commented about not being able to see the new features they had mentioned. Well I just so happened to look at that post again and there was Mark, giving me advice on how to resolve the issue! Big Shout out to Mark, I highly respect not only the fact that he stays in the loop with these sites (hope he reads G Style too lol), but the fact that he went the extra mile and even provided assistance!
In this version they have added a few more features to get you going. They have added the Election 2008, Beijing 2008, and added more in depth features in their Weather area. For the Election 2008, they aim to be your source for all things involving the U.S. Presidential Election Campaign. You will be able to follow the candidates as they march to the White House.
For the Beijing 2008 (aka The Olympics for those who didn’t know), you’ll be able to follow news, latest results by sport, medal results, upcoming events, and the update to the date Medal count as it goes along. For the Weather area, Viigo now gives you the the weather highs and lows as well as extended forecast information for the day. What I’m not feeling with this extended information is that it opens up in a web browser to show this information instead of keeping it in Viigo. If they can change this, the weather area would be sweet!
So check out the newest version today, you can get it by going to http://www.getviigo.com/beta from your Blackberry browser.
