Seth Rogen is back! After a very disappointing starring role in “Zack and Miri Make a Porno”, he’s back and funny as hell once again. Seth stars as Ronnie Barnhardt a head security guard at a Mall where he takes his job very seriously, but is often under appreciated. Ronnie has ambitions of turning his security gig into a position as a police officer were he’ll be able to trade in his baton and mace for a gun and handcuffs. While lusting after the very lovely cosmetic counter girl Brandi (Anna Faris), Ronnie finds himself challenged by Detective Harrison (Ray Liotta) from the local police station to catch a mall flasher who has been terrorizing patrons.

So I took my kids to see “Monsters vs. Aliens”. This animated movie is about a woman named Susan Murphy (Reese Witherspoon) who is hit by a giant meteor and grows 49 feet in height. The government captures her, renames her “Ginormica” and puts her at a secret location where they have hidden all monsters since the 50’s. In the facility she meets “Dr. Cockroach Ph.D” (Hugh Laurie), “The Missing Link” (Will Arnett), “B.O.B.” (Seth Rogen), and a 350 foot grub named “Insectosaurus”. They are soon teamed up to save the planet from a giant alien robot that lands in California. But the robot won’t be they’re only problem, for his alien master “Galaxhar” is on his way to Earth and he’s not looking to be friendly.

This past weekend I got a taste of some “Pineapple Express”, and I’m just now coming down off of it. LOL No but seriously I was out of town and stayed at a hotel that had they’re internet down, so I wasn’t able to send in my review. So now that I’m back and I just had to do this review. “Pineapple Express” starring Seth Rogen as Dale Denton and James Franco as Saul Silver is the funniest movie to come out this year. Actually it’s the funniest movie to come out since the same producers brought us “Superbad” last summer, another classic comedy. In this movie Dale Denton is a process server who while taking tokes on a joint outside of the person’s house he is about to serve papers on, sees the person kill someone. He panics throws the joint out the window and drives to his dealer’s house. Once there, he and his dealer, Saul get all panicky and paranoid and it ain’t from the weed they’re smoking. They have every reason to be scared, you see the weed they are smoking is a rare brand called Pineapple Express and Saul is the only one who sells it.
