When five friends who all played basketball together as kids, find out their former coach has passed away, they decide to reunite at the cabin where they celebrated their championship win as kids. They are all adults now and they bring their families with them to have a Fourth of July weekend together to catch up and continue where they left off so many years ago. They may have all gotten older, but it doesn’t mean they have grown up.

This past weekend the movie Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa came out and everyone from the first hit movie was there for a second helping of funny. Just to brush you up on the story. In the first one, four animals from the Central Park Zoo, Alex the Lion (Ben Stiller), Marty the Zebra (Chris Rock), Melman the Giraffe (David Schwimmer) and Gloria the Hippopotamus (Jada Pinkett–Smith) escaped from the zoo and when they get captured are sent away on freight to Africa. They fall off the ship and end up in Madagascar. Well in this one, along with the help from their friends the penguins, who also left the zoo and are in Madagascar, they hatch up a plan to get back to New York on a plane that was wrecked on the island.
