So Apple revealed their iPad device and the tech (nerd) world was left underwhelmed. We even weighed in on it here at G Style and at the end of our discuss we all decided we wouldn't recommend or even buy this thing. You see for a device that is suppose to be the in between of a smartphone and computer, to us geeks it left much to be desired. Most of us already have a Laptop, Macbook, iPod, iPhone, or iPod Touch so a bigger version of that seemed like a waste. But then I took a moment to think about what the iPad represents. Honestly they didn't build this thing for us, this is for the people who don't want to or know how to really use a computer. This is the Peek of computers!

The internet has been a buzz with the release of Apple's iPad. And we are talking about when they didn't even announce it yet. Once Apple did unveiled their latest product, there were mixed reviews. Some thought it was just a big iPod Touch, some thought the name was horrible, and some loved it. So we decide to talk about it via Google Wave and see what we thought about Apple's latest gadget. In this was Samuel Huang, Jason Anderson, Adele Bailey, and Chuck Holliday

The new Victorinox Swiss army knife will do more than just “cut” you through the world of flash drives, it will do it with style. We at G Style got to see the unveiling of this nifty device and got a chance to play around with the Presentation Master. On first look, the Presentation Master looks like any other Swiss Army knife. It has the typical knife, scissors and filer, but its the tech aspect that Victorinox has picked in this cool gadget that makes it different from the rest.

Now ready to go Mac yet or your love one isn't ready for Mac, then check out this laptop. Now is not a bad time to buy a PC or laptop as Windows 7 comes loaded on it now which is so much better than Windows Vista (though I've never really had a problem with Vista). Plus unlike the Macbook, this one retails for $599.99 so it is still within the reach of many who might not want to pony up for the Apple tax.

Man what a difference a year can make! On last year's holiday gift ideas you would of never see a Apple product listed (Beyond maybe the iPhone), as my taste for Apple was on the disgust side lol. One year and a Macbook Pro later and that opinion has changed! While I don't exactly drink from the cup of Steve Jobs, I will admit that the Macbooks are very good products. Does your love ones need a new laptop and your trying to decide whether Mac or PC? Trust me when I say, come on over the here, the water is fine. The Macbook has recently been redesign and give a unibody look like the Macbook Pros and even given a spec bump that puts it in line with the 13inch MBP. So with that $999 price tag, it might just be the sweet spot for you to give a a gift.
