Aquaman a.k.a Arthur Curry, is known by fans of DC Comics as the heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis. Following the events of “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Justice League”, at long last, we finally get our first look at Aquaman’s solo feature.
Starring Jason Momoa as the title character, with Amber Heard (“Magic Mike XXL”), Willem Dafoe (Spider-Man 1 & 2), Temuera Morrison (“Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones), Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Patrick Wilson and Nicole Kidman. The film is directed by immensely talented James Wan, co-creator of the Saw franchise and director of Saw, Insidious, The Conjuring and (Fast and the) Furious 7. If the trailer is any indicator, the DCEU is in for a complete overhaul from what we’ve been used to. Unfortunately, we’ll all have to wait till this Christmas to know for sure.
Aquaman arrives in theaters everywhere starting December 21st, 2018.
