What’s turned into an annual summer thing is Amazon’s Prime Day deals. It’s what you can call Amazon’s Black Friday if you will but just a couple seasons earlier. Some items such as Amazon’s devices have actually started now while others will start at 3pm and go all the way through tomorrow.

Prime Day (and a half) will kick off at 12pm PT / 3pm ET on Monday, July 16, offering 36 hours of deal shopping and, with more than one million deals worldwide, there’s something for everyone – from tech enthusiasts to home chefs to fashion lovers. Prime Day will feature double the deals on Amazon devices, which start now – 12 hours early – and offer the biggest savings yet on Alexa-enabled products like Echo, Fire TV, and Fire tablets, in addition to new categories from home security to Echo devices with screens. Anyone can shop and save this Prime Day by joining Prime or starting a free trial at amazon.com/primeday.

Here are some items to look out for:

NVIDIA Shield TV

One if not the best media stream box on the market comes from NVIDIA. I tend to praise it a good deal because I been using it for the past few years and this also happens because they keep updating. Supports various apps such as YouTube, Amazon, Hulu and audio/visual experiences such as 4K, HDR, DTS-X and Dolby Atmos. You can even play games on it.

Shield TV is $179.99 with remote and controller shaving off $20 all week(also available at Fry’s, Best Buy) or you can get the Shield TV with just remote for $139.99 later today once Prime Day kicks into gear.

Honor Smartphones

Honor will have two of their flagship smartphones at sweet discounts for Amazon Prime Day with the Honor View10 dropping off $100 for $399 and the Honor 7X going to be $169.99 thanks to $30 discounted. Both devices give you tremendous value for their respective price tags providing killer battery, fingerprint sensors and huge vivid displays.

Mint Mobile

If you are unsure about a prepaid carrier and want to try one out, Mint Mobile is practically giving you free trials on their service. What’s usually $5.00 they are taking $4.99 off making it $0.01. With this you will get their Starter Kit which includes: 100MB of 4G LTE data, 100 text messages, and 100 minutes of talk. This will last for 7 days after activation. Service also runs on T-Mobile’s network.

DJI

If you are in the market for a drone but unsure what to pick up DJI has some choices. With their first time participating in Amazon Prime Day they will be providing some discounts on their drones and some bundles. It will be a $300 discount on the Mavic Pro Fly More Combo ($999 after discount) or $200 discount on the Mavic Pro drone ($799 after discount). If you want something even smaller the Spark will have their Spark Fly More Combo reduced by $50 ($499 after discount).

Huawei

Just like their smaller brand Honor, Huawei has some deals on their flagship devices for Amazon Prime Day as well. They are practically giving you half off their Mate 10 Pro smartphone which retails for $799.99 but will be available for $499. Also their Watch 2 in Classic and Sports will be available for $219.99 and $289.99 after receiving $80 discounts off their usual price tags.

SanDisk

Usually a great place to pickup storage media is on Amazon and they have quite a few deals with SanDisk. One of the big deals going on right now is a 128GB microSD going for roughly $24. You can use this for your smartphone or heck even throw into a Nintendo Switch. In case that sells out there is one for $33 as well.
