Smartphones have become essential to people these days. They are our forms of communication and even use it to pay for items. But there is still a daily necessity and that’s the wallet. You need a place to keep your ID, cards and any other extras you like to have on hand. Eskter comes into play as they have created a wallet that’s slim, durable and gives you just the amount of space you need. Also it has some other nifty tricks too.

Style

Eskter has provided me with their Parliament Wallet in a creamy Roma Cognac leather colorway. There are three other colors if you have a different taste. The Parliament is made out of german/dutch leather that shows to be pretty durable with everyday usage. It’s a bi-fold pocket outfitted with options such as an elastic strap, pockets for cards on the side and best of all has a button to pop out cards thanks to its card slider system. On the back if you decide there is a slot to add a card by TrackR which will help you find your wallet in case of an accidental lost or misplacement.

Good thing about the card is it runs on solar power and only needs to be charged every three months rather than getting its swapped out like other trackers. Eskter has also equipped the wallet with NFC/RFID blocking to combat scammers and thieves.

Usage

I been using the Ekster wallet probably about a month now to replace my wallet. First off it is smaller than I expected. I couldn’t get everything I had in my prior wallet in here but that was actually a good thing. I’d use the card slider for four of my bank cards, and use the other card slots for a metrocard, ID and a couple of other small misc things. The elastic strap I’d use a money clip for cash. It’s actually beneficial to not have so much other stuff and sifting through it daily. I love the card slot and it makes getting a card out super easy. Sometimes they won’t go back in perfectly but it’s still easy to take them out and put back in and alleviating that issue.

Trackr’s card luckily I didn’t have to use much but it helped when misplacing my wallet in the house. The TrackR card is extra for an additional $20-30 but if you feel you are great at losing stuff then it might be worth that extra shell out of cash. It’s not as bad as getting it separate which runs for $49 solo.

Verdict

Eskter has managed to adjust a daily usage product and modernized it to make life easier for the consumer. Its card management is easy and saves time looking for cards and its size is super slim and easy for storage. Its size though may also deter some as stated I couldn’t get all the stuff out my prior wallet which isn’t bad but there are those that like to carry their life with them.
