This review is literally going to take 2 seconds because there really isn’t too much you can say about a sync and charge cable. This one is coming from Tech Armor, the company that normally makes very good, inexpensive screen protectors for all the latest, popular devices. What makes this cable different from others is that it’s a 3-in-1 Sync and Charge Cable that will work for USB-C, Lightning, and Micro-USB.
To start things off, the cable itself isn’t anything special. It’s not braided and doesn’t use any fancy materials. It just looks like s standard black cable. The base cable is just a micro-USB cable. The “special” part of is are the pair of adapters that come attached to the head that will allow you to use it as a Lightning cable or a USB-C cable. Obviously this is super important these days will all the different devices that we use that have different connectors now. With this one cable, I can sync and charge my wife’s iPhone 8 Plus, my HTC U11, and my son’s Samsung Galaxy S7. That means technically I only have to carry 1 cable with me now for 3 different devices. Obviously I can’t do it all at once, but it does simplify things a bit.
Anyways, the Tech Armor 3-in-1 Sync and Charge Cable works well and does what it says it does. I’m currently using it on my home desktop when I need to connect devices to it so I don’t have to go digging for cables or swapping cables. I can just leave this one plugged in and not worry about finding the right cable ever again.
