After some brief glimpses of it at CES codednamed as the Mercury and finally given its official name the BlackBerry KEYone back at MWC we finally have release date info pertaining to the device.
Preorders for the BlackBerry KEYone are set for May 18th, while the release date will be on May 31st. As of now carriers in Canada will be Bell, Bell MTS, Rogers, SaskTel and TELUS Business starting at $199 CAD on a two-year term. As far as who it carry it in the US will be revealed in the upcoming weeks. There will be GSM, CDMA unlocked models which is great and quite possibly will also be on Sprint.
The BlackBerry KEYone is a major refocus of the brand with BlackBerry mainly dedicated to the software while TCL puts major emphasis on the hardware.
