With the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge being deemed one of the best smartphones on the market right now it can also leave itself open as one of the most vulnerable. With a full body of glass that curves on the sides you are going to need some added protection. Here are some of the best cases to save you from those slips and falls.
Otterbox Symmetry Graffiti Series
The symmetry line have been my favorite cases from Otterbox because they don’t have much bulk but still have that added protection you need. Nice hard shell case that can take hits, nice raised bumper that gives you some relief for your curved screen, wide enough ports for access to charging and audio listening. Very easy to slide in and out of a pocket as well. With their latest Graffiti series they have added some popping visuals to help your Galaxy S7 Edge stand out even more than it already does.
Protection with a softer touch comes at the hands of the DualPro by Incipio. It uses a shock absorbing dLAST TPE inner core which is mixed with an outer Plextonium polycarbonate design that’s been prone to scratching so far. Holding it in the hand feels rather smooth combined to the touch of other plastic cases out there. Cutouts at the bottom should make easy access to ports and buttons are pretty responsive with the casing as well.
Urban Armor Gear Composite
While they primarily stick with one design if it ain’t broken why fix it. Their composite case comes in a clear hard-shelled body that can be chosen in different colors. Bumpers on each corner help suck in impact that may occur from that accidental drop. Raised screen surround provides protection for the screen and still gives access. Covered buttons are pretty tactile and very responsive. Ports are easily to use whether charging your S7 Edge or listening to music on it.
If you want to mix style with security the Wavelength series by Caseology is a nice spot to start at. It combines a TPU sleeve and polycarbonate bumper for dual protection while not adding much weight to the phone in general. The dual coloring adds a sense of style and matches up nicely with the different colorways of the Galaxy S7 Edge. The wavelength patterning on the back of the case provides needed grip and also feels nice in the hand as well.
Speck CandyShell Grip
Always a fan favorite across smartphones is the Candy Shell Grip case. It has a hard outer shell designed to take impacts while the grooves on the case prove easy handling and minimize drops. Raised bezel allows you to put the phone face down on a table and still get edge notifications with ease and comfort of the screen not touching anything. It also provides protection for the camera located on the back.
