World Premiere Trailer of Preacher

If you were one of the many who saw last night’s extended Walking Dead episode, you were treated to a short preview of AMC’s next original series in 2016, ‘Preacher’.
Based on Vertigo Comic (an imprint of DC Comics) of the same name, it tells the story of
Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper, Captain America and Agent Carter). A small town Preacher who after a supernatural event, enlists assistance from his gun-toting ex Tulip (Ruth Negga, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and an Irish vampire, Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun, Misfits) to literally find God.
The series is created by Garth Ennis (NBC’s Constantine) is being developed by Sam Catlin (Breaking Bad), Seth Rogen (yes, that Seth Rogen), and Evan Goldberg (This is the End). Goldberg is also directing the Pilot.
Preacher is set to air on AMC, Mid 2016.
