Trailer of the Netflix Comedy Series Master of None with Aziz Ansarai

I’ve been a fan of Aziz Ansari’s work for a long while now. Way before ‘Parks and Recreation’ and even before ‘Human Giant’. So when I read back in July that Netflix was doing a series based on his stand-up and book ‘Modern Romance’, I was more cautious than excited.
Ansari plays Dev (really himself), a thirty-year-old Indian-American actor living in New York. Navigating the world of modern romance, while making observations on work, technology, relationships and racial stereotyping in Hollywood. In one surprising twist, Aziz’s own parents play essentially themselves in the series. The show is produced and showrun by ‘Parks’ alums, Ansari and Alan Yang (Producer) share creator credit, Mike Schur (Writer) with Dave Becky and David Miner rounding the group. Here’s the good news. After viewing the trailer, the series looks to have every bit the comedic awkward trademark wit you’ve come to love with Aziz.
Master of None launches on Netflix on November 6th, 2015.
