Timbaland’s new artist, Tink, has released a video for her new single “Ratchet Commandments“. The 19 year old Chicago native dresses up like a preacher while spitting bars from a pulpit in this Dave Meyers directed video. Working with Timbo and Dave Meyers has proven successful for artists like Missy Elliott and you get the Missy vibe from this video but not in a wannabe kind of way. Proving to also be a multi threat entertainer she holds her own while keeping her own identity and flowing like she’s been doing this for years.
If this video is any indication of what’s to come Tink has a successful career in front of her. I enjoyed watching an artist being an artist it’s so few and far between these days.
