I’m sure everyone here has heard of the three little letters, JBL. Whether you had JBL speakers in your car, home, or on the go with their headphones, JBL was always synonymous audio pleasure. In the past, we’ve looked at a few JBL products, such as the JBL Synchros S400BT and the JBL Synchros S700. We were pretty impressed by the design and sound quality of these so it’s no surprise that we’d also be interested in JBL’s new 2014 lineup of headphones, the JBL Synchros Reflect Sport and JBL Synchros E-Series. For a company primarily known for it’s audio solutions, we’re glad to see they haven’t been sitting still.

reflect_btFirst up is JBL’s new Synchros Reflect line which primarily focuses on sports use and those who live an active lifestyle. There are two in-ear headphones featured here with one being wired and the other featuring Bluetooth wireless connectivity. Both are winners of the coveted 2014 Red Dot Design Award thanks in part to their innovative Freebit™ ergonomic ear tips and reflective cord design that makes you more visible in low light situations. Both feature JBL’s classic sound that they are known for, as well as sweat-proof in-line audio controls.

Pricing for both is as follows: JBL Synchros Reflect (MSRP $59.95) and JBL Synchros Reflect BT (MSRP $99.95) headphones.

“Music motivates us when we exercise,” said Michael Mauser, President, Lifestyle Division, HARMAN. “We want to focus on the experience, not the gear; so, for the first time, HARMAN has brought together powerful JBL audio performance with a combination of new features, resulting in an ideal solution for running, hiking, biking and working out. Our new JBL Synchros Reflect and JBL Synchros Reflect BT sport headphones address the real needs of athletes, freeing them up to focus on their goals.”

synchrose40btNext up is the JBL Synchros E-Series line which is their lifestyle product made with style and fashion in mind. The Synchros E-Series line combines JBL engineering with innovative features sure to complement every lifestyle and every way of listening. These include both around-ear and on-ear headphones like the Synchros E50BT and E40BT, to in-ear units like the Synchros E10. With the E50BT, E40BT, and E30, JBL has really updated the style of the new Synchros line and made them into rather attractive, modern looking headphones that have a style all their own. They feature high quality materials such as aluminum and leatherette. Like the Reflect line, the new E-Series line has also received the prestigious 2014 Red Dot Design Award.

Pricing on the new Synchros E-Series headphones are as follows: JBL Synchros E10 (MSRP $39.95), E30 (MSRP $79.95), E40BT (MSRP $99.95) and E50BT (MSRP $149.95) headphones.

“Our JBL Synchros headphones combine unbelievably powerful sound with innovative design and features,” said Michael Mauser, president, Lifestyle Division, HARMAN. “Whether at your desk, in your home, at the gym or on the go, the best headphones seamlessly blend the best audio quality with comfort and features that reflect your lifestyle. The full line of new JBL Synchros E-Series headphones deliver exactly that.”
